Sanger Recreation Division Receives Grant

City of Sanger

The City of Sanger is excited to announce a $9000 grant award to implement new web-based software for the City of Sanger’s Recreation Division. The new software will be made possible thanks to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District’s (SJVAPCD) Remove II E-Mobility Program. Funds from the District are made available to partially offset the cost of telecommunications technology or electronic services to replace vehicle travel by the general public seeking governmental services or instructional learning.

The new software will assist residents by allowing them to register and pay for programs, events, and activities or reserve a facility or park area from any web enabled device (some restrictions may apply). The software will improve customer service as program and facility information will be available 24 hours a day and not just during business hours. This new service will launch in January 2019, and will be up and running on prior to the Annual Swim Registration Day.

For more information on the City of Sanger’s recreation programs, events, and activities please call 559-876-6300 option 2.
