Current Drought Conditions
California is currently experiencing one of the most severe droughts in history. The lack of rainfall and reduced water releases into the rivers and canals has caused the underground water table to drop significantly.
The City of Sanger currently pumps all of the drinking water from the ground from wells located throughout the city. Conservation of water is critical to assure that the residents of Sanger have an adequate supply.
