Sanger Housing Authority

Mission

The Sanger Housing Authority's (SHA) mission is to provide for the effective expansion and maintenance of Sanger's affordable housing stock, with emphasis on meeting the needs of Sanger's low-income residents.

Programs

Among the programs currently being pursued by SHA are:

  • Construction of an affordable apartment community on SHA land at North Avenue and J Street. This project will provide homes for 80 or more low-income families in an attractive gated campus-like setting, with amenities for residents of varying ages, abilities and family composition.
  • Reconstruction of Memorial Village, a project of the Fresno County Housing Authority that will demolish 33 units and replace them with 54 modern housing units on an attractive campus for low-income families.
