The Mission of the Sanger Parks and Recreation Department is to:

The Sanger Parks and Recreation Department is a "full service" Department providing a wide variety of activities, events, programs and services to the Sanger Community and surrounding area from age 12 months to Senior Citizens. The Sanger Parks and Recreation Department prides itself in being customer driven, outcome oriented and collaboratively aggressive. It is our goal to improve the quality of life to the Sanger community through Recreation and Leisure. We ARE the essential connection to people and their leisure needs in the community and settings that we serve. |

Event hosted rain or shine!
Race Awards: All participants will receive a Blossom Trail t-shirt. Overall winners in the 2 mile run/walk and 10k will be awarded Commemorative City of Sanger Blossom Trail Trees. Aswards will be given out to each gender in each age grouping; Participation ribbons will be given to all kids. Medals or awards will be given to each of the top three finishers in each division of all other races.
Prizes: Pre-registered runners are eligible for prize drawings during the awards ceremonies (must be present to win). |

2M: Start East on 7th, South on "O", West on 14th (1 mile marker and water station, near Dewitt), North on Rawson, East on 7th (return to "Start"). |

| * Stay downtown immediately following the race (from 9am - 4pm) for the Blossom Trail Festival hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. There will be a car show, live entertainment, lots of food, arts & craft vendors, etc. |
