PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a vacancy in the City Council District 4 seat.  Any resident of District 4 interested in serving as a City Councilmember and meeting the eligibility and residency requirements is hereby invited to submit an application.  The successful candidate will serve from the time of the appointment by the City Council until December 2022, completing the term of the vacant seat.  

 Eligibility and Residency Requirements:

  1. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of appointment.
  2. Candidates must be a resident of District 4.
  3. Candidates must be a United States citizen at time of filing.
  4. Candidates must be a Sanger registered voter.

The deadline to submit a completed and signed application is 5:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2021, and may be submitted electronically, by regular mail, or in person by appointment. No late applications or postmarks will be accepted
