City Engineering Division
The City Engineering division provides municipal engineering services to the City of Sanger. Their responsibilities include planning, design, and construction of roadways, bridges, sidewalks, sanitary sewers, and drainage. They assist in preparing planning reviews, project designs and contract administration of public works projects and answer public inquiries regarding rights-of way, public property lines, stormwater runoff drainage, and sanitary sewerage.
The City Engineering Division prepares traffic and accident studies of city streets, performs field inspections of City infrastructure, and recommends maintenance practices for streets, highways, bridges, and other municipal improvements.
News / Announcements:
On Tuesday, June 28, the Contractor will begin the removal and replacement of the asphalt paving on Fifth Street between Greenwood and Academy Avenues.
Portions of the street will be closed to traffic during the repair work.
This project will take three weeks to complete.
Please use caution when traveling near or through the construction zone.
