The Community Emergency Response Program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
The Sanger Fire Department’s Community Risk Reduction Bureau reaches out to the community in various forums to educate the public with regard to fire safety and other safety issues. Presentations are made throughout the community on a variety of safety issues including home and workplace fire safety, disaster preparedness, proper use of fire extinguishers and smoke detectors.
The purpose of this campaign is to build national resilience by better preparing the public to save lives by raising awareness of basic actions to stop life-threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and man-made and natural disasters.
